Today is WORLD BOOK DAY. For more information see http://www.worldbookday.com What a great way to continue promoting reading!
Progress Reports:
Please note that progress reports will be going out on May 4, the day we return from the puente. Please follow your Assistant Principal’s instructions regarding how to make sure we have these correct and complete for distribution. It is particularly important to keep a copy or progress reports, especially those of students who are at risk of failing any subjects. Unfortunately we still do not have enough parents on-line to go to all electronic progress reports but the time is coming and this may be the last time you need to fill out old-fashioned progress reports.
Middle School Progress Reports:
DO NOT REMOVE PROGRESS REPORTS FROM THE TEACHERS´ LOUNGE!!! GRRRRR How do you make an angry face on the computer?
Writing Prompt Initiative:
Please remember to plan for the writing prompt process for next week in grades 4-9 Language Arts.
Stage Two Evacuation Gate:
Hopefully you have all noticed the gate that was placed in the wall to patio two over Semana Santa. The numbers should be painted on the patio by next week. In the meantime please take a mental note that through this new gate is where we would move students to patio 2 in case of a stage two evacuation as discussed in our general meeting several weeks ago.
EFFETA Community Service Project
Congratulations to Ms. Sylvia Chavarria’s class for raising the most funds. All together we raised over 27 thousand pesos for this cause. Thanks to all the teachers involved and your help with this worthy project.
Resource Position Opportunity
You may remember that I had communicated the possibility of a full-time resource position for next year. This is a formal announcement that yes, we will require an additional full-time resource person for next year. If you are interested please submit the following for consideration. Based on submitted documents and credentials candidates will be interviewed in the near future:
